I was born, raised, and remain in Oregon, the daughter of a very talented painter and a mother with a recent passion of her own for photography.   My son, now an amazing artist in his own right is the next in a succession of  creative genes.
 

Thinking back...my love for photography began when I was about 8.   At that time I just thought I was taking pictures.   After years of drawing and painting and experimenting with different art forms, the camera caught my attention again...and held it there very firmly.  The passion I feel when holding my camera is a feeling I had been seeking all those years.  

One day a friend asked me to shoot her sons senior photos...that is the day I realized I wanted more than just being the one in the family that took the pictures.  That shoot produced  my first "First  Place Ribbon" and Leanna's Reflections was born. 
    

 Being your typical starving artist, I still hold my “day job” to pay the mortgage so my work is by appointment only, weekends, evenings and holidays.  

I strive to capture the inner spirit of my subject, so you get to see what I see.  I want you to feel the sparkle I see, and sense the emotion that surrounds a scene or a subject.  I want you to experience the beauty that I challenge myself to capture through my lens, my passion.  Given the opportunity with my camera, I can capture your best moments and preserve it for not only your future...but the generations to come.
